Hey! I’m Barb Jones.  I have been married to my husband, Jim, for 35 years. We have three adult children who mean absolutely everything to me, along with a two-year-old granddaughter who has brought more joy to our family than I ever could have imagined.

I am a co-owner of Salty Heifers Co. with my daughter, Jacie, and my niece, Lindsy. The three of us also organized the amazingly successful Mexico Jeep Thing as a way to bring the community together and raise money for worthy organizations throughout the Mexico area.  We are so excited to start the planning of the third annual Mexico Jeep Thing and make it bigger and better than ever.

Helping others has always been close to my heart. I have participated in multiple mission trips and had the privilege of organizing two mission trips in Troy, Missouri. Those experiences showed me just how powerful kindness, teamwork, and generosity can be.

Starting a nonprofit has been a lifelong dream of mine. Through The Helpful Heifers Foundation, I hope to continue bringing people together, supporting genuine needs, and making a lasting difference in our community. I know that we are on our way to creating an amazing team that is going to do great things and I can't wait to see how much of a difference this small herd of Heifers can make!  I am glad you are here to follow our journey of impact and inspiration.

Hi, I’m Lindsy Swaim. I am married to the love of my life and one of my greatest supporters, Tom. Together, we have three children—Alexis, Kyler, and Ethan—and we are excited to soon welcome our daughter-in-law, Kaelyn, into the family.

I am a co-owner of Salty Heifers Co. alongside my aunt, Barb, and my cousin, Jacie. The three of us make a strong team, working together to manage our store, website, and community events. Through these efforts, we have been fortunate to raise money and support many deserving individuals and organizations.

In addition to my work at Salty Heifers Co., I am a full-time Special Education Paraprofessional serving elementary-aged students. Helping others is one of my greatest passions, and I truly value every opportunity to make a positive difference.

Starting this nonprofit is another way for us to give back, support those in need, and show that even a small group of caring people can make a meaningful impact in our community.

Hi, I’m Jacie Jones. I am a co-owner of Salty Heifers Co. alongside my mom, Barb, and my cousin, Lindsy. I also work full-time as an operating room nurse with Missouri Orthopaedic Institute and the University of Missouri in Columbia.

Giving back has always been an important part of my life. I grew up participating in community events and fundraisers with my family and friends, which helped shape my passion for helping others. I have taken part in several mission trips, including helping plan two of our own in Troy, Missouri. I have also served on the planning committee for both Mexico Jeep Thing events.

I am incredibly excited to be part of The Helpful Heifers Foundation and to continue finding meaningful ways to support individuals, families, and organizations in our community.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading and spending time with my boyfriend, Colton.

Hi, my name is Kaitlyn Clithero and I was born and raised right here in Mexico, Missouri. I am proud to give back to the amazing community that has helped shape who I am as a person.

Family is at the center of everything I do. My son, Dallas, is the light of my life and inspires me every day to be the best version of myself. Becoming a mom has been the most rewarding experience of my life, and it continues to motivate me to serve others with compassion and purpose.

I am also incredibly grateful for my wonderful husband, Derek, whose unwavering support encourages me to pursue the things I am passionate about and give my best to every opportunity.

It is an honor to serve on the board of The Helping Heifers. I am excited to be part of an organization dedicated to making a positive difference in our community, and I can’t wait to see all that The Helping Heifers will accomplish and the lasting impact it will have on the lives of others.

I'm Nikki Taylor, my life is a constant, rewarding balance of wearing many hats, as I thrive on staying busy and am driven by a deep commitment to my work, my fitness, my community, and - most importantly - my family.

My military service is the cornerstone of my life, grounding me in discipline and resilience. Aside from my on-going military commitments, I balance a full-time civilian career, a part-time civilian position and an early-morning fitness routine that fuels my mental health and drive to tackle challenges head-on.

Beyond these commitments, I am the proud owner and operator of Meowjestic Maine Coon, LLC, where I operate with a deep commitment to integrity and quality.

At home, I am supported by my wonderful husband, Colby Taylor, who provides me with new perspectives on life every single day.

Together, we navigate the chaos of raising our six sons - including two serving in the U.S. Navy, one residing here in Mexico, and three at home - who remain my greatest honor and primary motivation. I am incredibly proud to be their mom, it is without a doubt, my proudest title.

I am completely honored to have been asked to serve on the board of the Helpful Heifers Foundation; it is a small herd making a big difference, and I am here for it.

I don’t just support what they represent - I live it. I believe that true success isn't measured by what you accumulate, but by the legacy of kindness and resilience you leave in the lives of others; I am committed to being the ripple effect that turns small, intentional acts into lasting, transformative change.
